| At 6,555 yards, the par-71 Resort South Course is a bit shorter, with smaller, subtle greens that demand all the accuracy you can muster. Not easy, when you're surrounded by sweeping views of the West Maui coast, the neighbor islands of Molokai and Lanai, and in the winter, humpback whales cavorting offshore. Not to mention the whimsical Sugar Cane Train, whose steam locomotive, a reminder of turn-of-the-century Hawaii, chugs past on its way to the historic whaling town of Lahaina. |
